A mom with a movement disorder blogs about life with a typical daughter and a son with special needs including a left arm with a shrinking tumor. Both kids delight and challenge me everyday. "May you live in interesting times!" is a Chinese saying that can be considered both a blessing and a curse. I always live in interesting times. Lately I've tried to make this into a more of a recounting of the boons in my life aka the things I have to be thankful for.
Now with its own blog!I sent off my children's picture book. It's the first time I've sent a submission via snail mail. I really love this book. Evidently so do other people. I got some great endorsements. I'm really excited about it. Now I just have to wait and wait and wait to hear back from the publisher. Please wish me luck. My submission "fills a void" "providing a real service to parents everywhere" but it will be in the dreaded slush pile, so I'll need it.
